CLEARFIELD--Ronald James Gale, 39, of 57 Lake St., Clearfield, died Monday at one p.m. in an Ogden hospital after a two-week illness.
Mr. Gale was born Aug 26, 1907, in Ogden, a son of Archie J. and Eva Rex Gale. He was a meat cutter and owned and managed the Gale delicatessen, Clearfield. On Aug 6, 1932, he married Beulah Wilde in Ogden. The last two years were spent in Clearfield; the remainder of his life in Ogden.
He was a member of the L.D.S. church, the Eagles lodge, Clearfield Gun club, and Salt Lake Gun club. He had also been a member of the Roy Kiwanis club.
Surviving are his widow, Clearfield; five sons and daughters, Archie W., Russell J., Larry H., Eva Lunn and Mary Beth Gale, Clearfield; his mother, Mrs. Eva Corey, Ogden; a brother, Paul J. Gale, Ogden, and the following half brothers and sisters; Vern, Clarence, Kenneth and Mrs. Norma Romer, Ogden; Mrs. Elnora Messima and Mrs. Clara Doss, Los Angeles, and Mrs. LaVon Carrek, Salt Lake City.
The body is at the mortuary, 3408 Washington, Ogden.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at one p.m. at the mortuary, by Verno E. Larson, bishop of L.D.S. Clearfield First ward. Burial will be in the Ogden city cemetery.
