Lucille Mae Wright Lunsford, 74, of 1428 Second St., Waynesboro, passed away Tuesday morning, May 16, 2006, at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Floyd and Hallie Craig Wright.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Franklin Lunsford; one son, Jerry Wayne Shipp; one daughter, Joyce Marie Irvan; one grandson, Stacey Irvan; one brother, Junior Wright; and one sister, Genevieve Parrish.
Survivors include one son, Rodney E. Lunsford and his wife, Eileen, of Waynesboro; one brother, Donald Wright and his wife, Mary, of Stuarts Draft; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service by Pastor Edward L. Carl. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Malcolm Irvan, Samuel Smith, Ronnie Wright, Michael Lunsford, Freddie Lawhorne, and Raymond, Miller and D.F. Wright Jr.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday May 19, 2006, at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro.
