Survived by wife Camilla "Cam" Cofer, daughters, Therasa Patric, Debby Ridings, Vickie Sargent, son Freddy Cofer, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters in law, Talmadge & Marion Cofer, Frankie & Jean Cofer, Billy & Bobbie Cofer, sister and brother in law, Clara Mae and Roger Bailey, sister in law, Flossie Cofer, sister in law and brother in law Sheila & Mark Mansfield, several nieces, nephews and cousins, his beloved jack russels, Amy, Stormy, Spice, Meg, Farrah, and Duchess. Doc was a life long resident of Buford, a retired butcher, having worked for Holland Sausage, Holiday Supermarket, Kroger and Colonial Stores. He was also a master mechanic in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Doc was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Buford.
