William is survived by his loving family, daughters, Karen Eropkin of Fresno, California and Nancy Bagdanov of Cameron Park, California and six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel at 2:30pm and the Dressing Prayer will be at 3:30pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 10:00 from the Russian Molokan Big Church in Los Angeles, California, with services and interment following at the Russian Molokan Cemetery, Commerce, California.

William is the son of John Boriseyvich Abakumoff (1884-1936) and Anna Martin Lisizin (1886-1971). He is one of eight known children: John, Mary, Martin, Alice, Stella, Katherine, William, James.
He married Katherine Alex Kornoff on 29 Jun 1952 in Los Angeles County, CA. They have two daughters, Karen and Nancy.
