Mother of Van Nuys Builder Passes on Date of 83rd Birthday
Mrs. Louisa Margaret Arnold, mother of Major W. A. Arnold, died at the home of her son, 14350 Victory boulevard, Tuesday afternoon on her eighty-third birthday.
Mrs. Arnold had been a resident here during the past thirteen years, making her home with her son.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Schwimley Memorial Chapel, Dr. David Farquharson of the Van Nuys Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was in the family plot at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Arnold is survived by two daughters and four sons. The daughters are Mrs. Elizabeth Rapp of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Miss Grace Arnold, San Francisco. The sons surviving are James Arnold, Riverton, Wyoming; Charles E. Arnold, Hot Springs, South Dakota; George B. Arnold of San Diego and Major W. A. Arnold of Van Nuys.
