Opal E. Campbell, 88, of Olathe, KS. Passed away Monday October 25, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Olathe. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to NPR/Kansas Public Radio, Opal's source of great enjoyment (1120 W. 11th. St. Lawrence, KS 66044)

Opal was born October 10, 1922 in Hurdland, MO to Anna and Martin Campbell. She was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, most recently of Independence, MO and Olathe, KS. She retired after 23 years at the Social Security Administration and was previously employed by Ford Motor Company and North American Aviation. She also taught 1-6 grades at Van Horn School in Hurdland and was Valedictorian of her high school class in …..
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.
She is survived by her son Charles Boots (Betty); four grandchildren: Stephanie Ortillano (Al), Alicia Crowther (Anthony), Bryan Boots, and Ashley Boots and six great grandchildren.
