Family states she is buried at Brewton Cemetery, (b. 02 Jun 1903; d. 19 Feb 2007). Betty, on the headstone, was her sister. See photo.

During the time she was married to Judge Francis Waldo Allen, Sr., of Bulloch County, Georgia they had two sons; Francis Waldo Allen, Jr., of Charlotte, North Carolina at the time of her death, and Henry Scott Allen, of Augusta, Georgia at the time of her death.

"In reference to Ann Margaret "Margie" Shuman Allen. born 17 NOV 1925 in Evans County, Georgia, died 26 APR 1990 in Augusta, Georgia (University Hospital), FAG# 60737235.
Comments: The deceased is a distant cousin of Mr. Bowen and his siblings. He also remarks that this is the correct Betty Marlene Shuman (1932-2009) as her sister mentioned above in the biography. He verifies this further by stating that he went to school with her at Claxton High School in Evans Co., GA. Her husband was located by Mr. Bowen and he has been linked to her."
