Frank Stevens, 66, Inspector at NYC Shops, Dies

Death Sunday at 10 a.m. claimed the life of Frank Holcomb Stevens, 66, of Kingsville, an employee for 31 years of the New York Central Railroad Harbor Shops. Mr. Stevens died of a heart ailment following a several weeks' illness.

Born at Madison, Nov. 17, 18875, the deceased was united in marriage with Avis A. Russell at Ashtabula March 23, 1905. Mr. Stevens was employed as a car inspector at the carshops.

Survivors besides his wife include three sons, Raymond, of Erie, Charles of Ashtabula and Lester of Kingsville; four daughters, Ora Stevens at home, Mrs. Perl Hough of Ashtabula, Ms. Launetta Reed and Mrs. Olive Roth of Kingsville, his mother, Mrs. Addie Stevens, Ashtabula, one sister Mrs. Ida Mae Smith and six brothers, Perry and Norris of Cleveland, Timothy and Leon of Ashtabula and Arthur and Edson of Youngstown, and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at he residence in North Kingsville Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev Costigan, Pastor of the Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in East Lake Cemetery.

Friends may call any time Tuesday afternoon and evening at the residence.
