J. Louis Quick, 77, a longtime resident of Iowa Park, died Friday at his home. Services were Sunday afternoon at Tanner Aulds Funeral Home with Rev. John Klappenbach, pastor of Odell Baptist Church, and Rev. Floyd Heard of Iowa Park, officiating.

Burial was in the Highland Cemetery. He was born Aug. 1,1906 in Pinota, Ind. He was a retired oil operator. He married Agnes Fields Dec. 24, 1932, in Iowa Park and was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as Brotherhood and Training Union director for several years.

He is survived by his wile; one son, Charles of Iowa Park; a daughter, Kaye Dickenson of Lawton, Okla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were L.S. Whisnand, Donald Hill, O.N. Newman, George Lewis, Ray Pierce and L.W. Teel.
