Bill R. Gillespie, born August 6, 1921 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the age of 81. Mr. Gillespie was a former resident of Havre, MT and had lived in San Antonio since 1951. He served in the Army/Air Corps during World War II and retired from Civil Service at Kelly AFB with 30 years of service. His wife, Alice R. Gillespie preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughters, Dixie Gholson of San Antonio, Linda Lindsay and husband Bob of Saudi Arabia and Cheryl Acosta and husband Joe of San Antonio; son, Floyd William Gillespie and wife Rebecca of Devine; sisters, Myrtle Primm of Havre, MT and Bobbie Yates of Lake Havasau, AZ; eight grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 22, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. in Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park North. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M. Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
