As a lifetime resident of the Asheville community, she was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church as well as past president of the DOES. Winnie will always be remembered as a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by three sons, Jim Seigler of Lilburn, Dr. Hilliard Seigler of Durham, and Robert Seigler of Lilburn; two sisters, Bernice Shields of Tryon and Polly Pace of Easley, S.C.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Morris Funeral Home, 304 Merrimon Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
