Eliza was the daughter of John "Johnnie" Hatmaker and Caroline Slover. She married Amon Cooper in Campbell County, Tennessee on 24 Feb 1881. Amon and Eliza are the parents of my paternal grandmother, Martha Ann Cooper, who married Samuel Thomas "Sam" Sharp. Other children of Amon and Eliza were: Nancy Jane Cooper, Mary Etta Cooper, Manda C. cooper, Maggie M. Cooper, Cora F. Cooper, James Cylus Cooper and Essie Cooper.
