Mrs. Fred (Mable G.) Rambo Sr., 73, of Decatur, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Decatur and Macon County Hospital, where she had been a patient two days.

Mrs. Rambo had lived in Decatur 23 years, moving here from Piatt County.
She retired in 1957 as a dress inspector at Osgood and Sons, Inc. of Decatur.
Mrs. Rambo was born Feb. 4, 1892, in Warrenburg, a daughter of Edward and Rosa Buckley Jones. Her husband, Fred Rambo Sr., died Oct. 1, 1956.

She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Lucille) Carson, of Findlay; Mrs. Harvey (Vivian) Shirley, of Champaign; Mrs. Clark (Ila) Butt, Mrs. James (Beulah) Andrick and Betty Rambo, all of Decatur; one son, Fred Rambo Jr., of Moweaqua; three brothers, O. N. Jones and William L. Jones, both of Decatur; Orville Jones, of Cortez, CO.; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
One brother and three sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brintlinger's Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
