Born February 25, 1921, in Casper, Wyoming; he later lived in Yellowstone National Park, Livingston and California. During World War II he was in the Air Force and served in England and Germany. He married Betty R. Perkins, July 16, 1946 in Livingston. They made their home in California where he was employed by the U.S. Navy and later by the Air Force. They returned to Livingston in August 1961, and Mr. Beatty opened a bicycle shop here in the spring of 1962.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy L. Beatty, and a sister, Elaine Beatty.
Surviving are his wife, two sons; a daughter, his mother Mrs. Beulah Beatty of Seal Beach, California; a brother, Jack Beatty of California; a sister Villis L Miller of California; one niece and one nephew.
