"Death Call Comes to Mrs. Barre"

Mrs. Annetta Susanah Curtis Barre, 130 West Seventh Street, died at her home at 8 o'clock Sunday morning. She was born at Curtisville, near Albion, on March 1, 1869, daughter of Thomas and Susanah Glick Curtis, and was aged 76 years and 1 month. Mrs. Barre had been ill for six weeks.

She was married to John Edgar Barre on September 10, 1890. He survives, together with four children, Charlie Barre of Jonesboro, Ill., Mrs. Zella Ward of Beaumont, Texas, Curtis Barre of Whiting, Ind., and Mrs. Genevieve Hoskinson of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Mrs. Effie Woods of Allendale; and six grandchildren. Preceding her in death were three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Ina Miller, Lorene, and Olive Irene. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Rebekahs, and Royal Neighbors.

Mrs. Barre was removed to the Roy D. Short Company Funeral Home where services will be held in the Memorial Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. W. E. Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
