Obituary: Barry was born March 14, 1947, in Great Bend, Kan. His family moved to San Luis Obispo in 1952. Barry graduated from San Luis Obispo High School in 1965 and worked in his parents' glass shop, Aggson Paint & Glass, for several years before marrying and moving to Atascadero. Barry became a licensed contractor building in North County over the last 24 years.

Barry enjoyed playing and coaching sports. He was very active in youth athletics in Atascadero. He was the AYA Football League President twice, coaching several dozen youth baseball and football teams. Barry also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing since his childhood. Barry was an avid golfer and competed in many tournaments locally.

Barry was known for his keen sense of humor as well as kindness and willingness to help those he knew.

Barry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rosalinda; son Keith and daughter-in-law Kelly Aggson; son Mark Aggson; grandchildren, Justin and Chandler; sister Judy and brother-in-law Rod Nixs; sister Carol Tootle; brother Tony and sister-in-law Carla Aggson; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws; as well as nieces and nephews. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Florence Aggson
