Dorothy A. (Wright) Frampton, 91, of Indianapolis and former Pendleton and Greenwood resident, passed away Sept. 20, 2010, at Rosegate Village in Indianapolis.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1918, in Malden, Mass., and was a longtime Pendleton resident.
Dorothy was an office worker at Central Indiana Gas Company, Pendleton for 10 years and previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston.
She was a graduate of Malden High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pendleton.
Dorothy was an active volunteer with Saint John's Hospital Victoria Guild in Anderson.
Survivors include her son, George R. (wife, Chris) Frampton of Greenwood; stepson, William L. Frampton of Emporia; three brothers, Allen (wife, Rita) Wright and Harold (wife, Carol) Wright, both of Florida, and David Wright of Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Patrick Frampton and Katie Frampton, both of Greenwood, and Jeffrey Frampton of Kansas and Kim (husband, Larry) Baker of Daleville; great-granddaughter, Brandy Reed of Chicago, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Frampton; parents, Forrest and Beatrice Allene (Lewis) Wright; and three brothers, Richard Wright, William Wright and Robert Wright.
