Carl Christian, 90, passed away Friday, Sept. 17, 2010. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at First Christian Church, 910 S. Collins, Arlington. Graveside inurnment: 10:45 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Carl was born July 29, 1920, in Manitou, Okla., to Earl and Mabel Christian. He was a retired staff sergeant with the Air Force. Carl lived a full and colorful life. Carl was predeceased by his wife, Roslin Christian; stepson, Kenneth S. Howard; daughter, Carla Lynette Christian; and eight siblings. Survivors: Sisters, Joyce Laverne Ogletree and Joan C. Windom; children, Patsy Bauman, James Albert Christian, Deborah Lynn Couger and Gary Lee Christian; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
