ABRAHAM, Arpenig "Peggy" (Dilanjian) Arpenig "Peggy" (Dilanjian) Abraham, 88, of New Britain, widow of William George Abraham, died Tuesday at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Markar and the late Nevart (Simonian) Dilanjian, she was employed as a supervisor at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford for thirty-two years before her retirement. She was a member of St, Mark's Episcopal Church and The Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection, and loved reading, time spent at the Connecticut shoreline and working in her yard, and was always concerned about family and friends before herself. She will be deeply missed by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark Alan Abraham Sr. and Kathleen Abraham of New Britain, two beloved grandsons who cherished and adored her, Mark Abraham Jr. and Nicholas Abraham, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 147 West Main Street, New Britain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway in Kensington on Monday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assocition, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183.
