William and Lutie divorced and in 1900, 1910 & 1920, William is living with brother John and sister-in-law Myrtie. At the time of his death, William resided at Rural Route 7 in Rushville IN. Will update when the 1940 census is located.

"William Warfield Succumbs Tuesday
Wiliam Warfield, 79, died at the County Home Tuesday afternoon at 5:10 after a serious illness of a month. Mr. Warfield entered the home in 1947.
He was born in Rush County Feb. 11, 1869, a son of David and Caroline Warfield and had lived in Rush County all his life.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Ella Lockridge, Rush County; two brothers, John Warfield, Rush County, and James Warfield, Rushville.
Funeral services will be held at the Todd Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Gibson Wilson officiating. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary any time."
