Patricia's great grandfather, Allen Wright, named the state of Oklahoma: Land of the Red Man. He was a Captain in the Confederate Army, later a ordained minister. He also translated the King James version of the Holy Bible to the native Choctaw language. Brother and Patti took care of Muriel Wright until her death in 1975. She lived at their duplexes off NW 14th in OKC.
