Orville Melvin Allen Sr., 76, of Bon Secour died Monday, April 30, 2001, at his residence.
Allen was a member of St. Peter Episcopal Church in Bon Secour, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a Shriner and a Master Mason of Loop Lodge No. 895 in Pensacola.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Delvia Marie (Braun) Allen of Bon Secour; two daughters, Debbie Drury of New Orleans and Dr. Cindy Allen of Jackson, Miss.; one son, Orville M. Allen Jr. of Tallahassee; one sister, Winifred Taylor of Bon Secour; one brother, Leonard Allen of Bon Secour; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Episcopal Church in Bon Secour, with Father Scott James officiating.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Episcopal Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Bayview Funeral Home.
