She had several jobs. In 1980 she retired as a ward clerk at St. Johns' Hospital.
Martha was an outstanding student, being on the honor roll many times. Later in life she became an expert, crocheting beautiful things.
Donald Q. Paulsel lived about 400 yards away from Martha when they were young. She drove a Fordson tractor and he drove horses ! They have been friends for 85+ years.
She is survived by her husband, Don Paulsel; son, James (Jamalee) Armstrong; granddaughter, Amy Walters and two great grandchildren, Brody and BreAnne Walters; sister, Margaret Austin of Anderson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert W. Armstrong; one sister, Lilly (Gwinn) Laman and husband, Eddie; parents, Forrest and Sadie Gwinn; uncle, Ted Gwinn, a cattle farmer; and an aunt, Hazel Troutman of Lapel.
