STERLING PRICE ANDERSON
The death of Price Anderson occurred last Tuesday morning at his home in Rochester township, in his death the community loses a useful, industrious citizen and a neighbor ever ready and willing to lend a helpful hand to those about him. His family loses a kind and devoted husband and his death occurring just at a time when he reached full and mature manhood; will be generally mourned by those who knew him. His last illness extended over a period of five weeks, death resulting from an attack of typhoid fever. His end was peaceful after a hard battle for life. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon and was attended by a large number of people who came to pay their last tribute of respect and affection to one who had lived his entire life among them. The services were conducted by Rev. J.H. Turner.
Sterling Price Anderson was born near Atalissa, February 4, 1864, and died February 19, 1907, aged 43 years and 19 days. He was married to Miss Elizabeth Atkinson May 4, 1888. He is survived by his wife, and aged mother, two brothers - J.D. and Lee Anderson of Rochester - also a sister - Mrs. C.U. Edwards of Neosha, Mo.
