Dollie Lee Parker
Commerce-Dollie Lee Parker of Commerce died Sunday in a Rockwall nursing home after a long illness. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Lee Alexander officiating.
She was born April 7, 1914, in Peerless to Will and Addie Salee Millsap. She married Marvin Parker in 1943* in Sulphur Springs. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Commerce.
Surviving are three sons, Odies Parker of Cumby, Kenneth Parker of Dallas and Billy Parker of Garland; two daughters, Mary Sue Goforth of Grand Prairie and Louise Pierce of Dallas; 27 grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Butch France, Larry Lindsey, Joe Sharp, Ivy Carlton, Earl Pierce and Michael Parker.
The family will be at Jones-Walker and Son Funer Home today from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
