Funeral services for Warren Blair, 48 will be held at 2:00this afternoon at the First United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa with Rev. Carl Treat officiating.

Warren passed away at an Albuquerque hospital, where he had been confined since August 24.

He was born January 28, 1930 in Merkell, Texas and graduated from high school in Noodle Texas, in 1947. He grew up in Noodle , moving to Lubbock Texas in 1948. He worked in farming until 1952. Since that time he worked in the truck stop and service station business.

Blair married Miss Peggy Jo Johnson of Santa Rosa on March 2, 1952. The family moved to Santa Rosa from Lubbock in May 1972 and lived here since then.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Peggy Blair of Santa Rosa; one son Gary Blair and his wife Kathy of Lubbock; four daughters Nancy Spradling and husband Tim of Lubbock; Susan Blair, Patti Blair and Karen Blair all of Santa Rosa. One brother J.K. Blair of Arcadia, Florida and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father J.K. Blair Sr in November 1967 and his mother Edna Patterson Blair in June 1978.

Pallbearers will be Sgt. Jack Johnson, Jim Hennigan, Billy Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Norman Hennigan and Jessie Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers are Kermit Smith, Walt Eastland,Leonard Gonzales, Jerry Gutierrez, Dr Fred Hunt, and all his Texas and New Mexico friends.

Interment will follow the services in the Santa Rosa Evergreen Cemetery.
