Mrs. Minnie Schwemm Malzow, 56 years old died this morning at her home at 67 Lovell Street after an illness covering a period of years.
She was born in Barrington township, Cook County on July 31 1874 and had lived in Elgin for the last 45 years.
Mrs. Malzow was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Elgin and of the Ladies' Aid society of that church.
She is survived by her husband Charles Malzoe and the following nephews and nieces, Mrs. Lillian Beart of Bartlett; Mrs. Gertrude Boyd of Wasco; Mrs. Marie Beverly, of Algonquin and William H. Hoffman of 460 Brook Street.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from Gustafson Chapel and at 2 o'clock from St. John's Lutheran Church, the Rev. W. J. Kowert officiating. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
