J.C. Atwood who has been sick for some time, was carried to the sanitarium at Clinton, Oklahoma a few days ago where he gradually grew worse and death came about 2 o'clock Sunday morning.
His remains were shipped back to Wellington and laid to rest in the afternoon in the Plymouth Cemetery.
The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church and leaves a wife and ten children to mourn his demise.
Rev. J.C. Clements conducted the funeral services at the Baptist Church which was filled to its capacity.
