She was born April 11, 1931, in Minerva, Ohio, to the late Fred and Grace (Blubaugh) Bolanz. Mrs. Blubaugh was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Women's Guild. She was the owner of the former Nutcracker Shop in Mount Vernon.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Blubaugh; and two brothers, Jerry Bolanz and Walter Bolanz.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, where a rosary will follow at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery in Danville.
