Jane was the mother of Elizabeth Armstrong and wife of Robert Armstrong. They were married in Augusta, Va. in 1765. Jane was born in Ireland in 1739 and immigrated to Virgina. They recieved landgrants in Greenbrie, Va. In 1793 they migrated to Mason Co. Ky. She had 9 children. Her husband Robert was a veteran of the American Revolution. He was a native of Scotland and born in 1724. I am assuming she was a terrific mother since she had so many children. She died at age 77. So she had a rich full life.
