Gary C. Beckwith of Chisago City died Friday August 13th at United Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 72.

Gary was born Dec. 21, 1937 at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul to Clifford and Alice Beckwith. He graduated from Harding High School in 1955. Gary then served in the US Army. He married Kay Feyereisn at Our Saviors Lutheran church in St. Paul. He worked as an industrial photography darkroom technician for Buckbee - Mears Co. In his free time Gary enjoyed fishing, movies watching his grandchildren play sports, followed the Twins, Vikings and Gophers, and was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels and the Zion Lutheran LOGOS.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Kay, son Doug and his wife Kelly of North Branch, daughter Deb and her husband John Cassidy of Woodbury, grandchildren Joshua, Andrew, Kaylee, Amanda, and Mitchell.

4 to 8 PM Monday August 16th at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom
