Howard A. Lueloff, 82, of Fond du Lac, passed away at the University of Wisconsin Hospital on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Howard was born in Rosendale on March 23, 1928, a son of Algard and Lilah (Loos) Lueloff.

On June 17, 1950 Howard married Jeanne Menge at St. Mary's Church, Fond du Lac.

Howard was a 1946 graduate of Fond du Lac High School. In 1947 he began his employment with Wisconsin Bell Telephone Co. From 1947 until 1956 he worked in West Bend, and then returned to work in Fond du Lac. He retired in 1985 after 39 years of service. From 1986 to 1995 he worked as a security guard at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was a member of Holy Family Parish, an active member of the Telecom Pioneers, a manager, director and then president of Boys Baseball. In 2003 he was inducted in the Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.

Howard volunteered at St. Agnes Hospital, as well as St. Agnes Home Care installing life lines from 1986 until 2003, and also with the Free Spirit Riders.

He is survived by Jeanne, his wife for 60 years; five children, Joseph (Linda) of Fond du Lac, Susan Lueloff (Steve Spangler) of Sun Prairie, Peter (Kathy) of Rio, David (Kim) of Warren MI, and Mary (Harold) Cook of Wisconsin Dells; ten grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron) Roehl, Dana (special friend, Kelly Narbatovics) Lueloff, Paul Lueloff, Lucas Peter Lueloff, Ted Lueloff, Samantha Lueloff, Gabriel Spangler, Bethany Lueloff, Joshua Lueloff, and Lucas Scott Lueloff; three great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jillian and Matthew Roehl; two brothers-in-law, Clarence Bloedow and Ronald Geiger; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding Howard in death are his parents; six sisters, Leona McCullough, Viola Jaeger, Norma Swandt, Valeria Behnke, Laverne Richards and Gloria Bloedow.

Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends at the Zacherl Funeral Home on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Services: A Memorial Service will be celebrated in Zacherl Funeral Home on Friday, August 13, 2010, at 1:00 pm. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
