Mrs. Morrison was born July 7, 1919 in Dent County to Greenberry Wade and Mary Elizabeth (Copeland) Sapaugh. She married Elmer Morrison August 15, 1940. They were the parents of twin sons. Mrs. Morrison died August 3, 2010 in Houston at the age of 91 years.
Survivors include one son, Ron Morrison and wife, Jean, Cedar Hill; two grandchildren, Robert Morrison and wife, Amanda, St. Louis; Katherine Luraschi and husband, Donald, Fenton; five great-grandchildren, Brendan, Laura, Nathaniel, Madeline and Isabella.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one son, Donald Morrison; two infant siblings; nine brothers, James, Rufus, Guy, Harold, Clifford, Clarence, Oliver, Howard and Ervin; one sister, Joyce Beezeley.
