Robert's remains were recovered in 2004 and positively identified in 2009. He was buried along side his parents in Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay, Wisconsin later that year. He was also part of a group burial in 2011 at Arlington National Cemetery. His memorial remains here in his memory and is marked as recovered.
