Mrs. Priscilla Ann Stansell Grant Goodman, age 61, of Griffin, passed away Friday, June 5, 2009.

Mrs. Goodman was born Dec. 18, 1947, in Spalding County, to the late Ralph Stansell and Mrs. Lugine Holcomb Stansell. Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by her husbands, James Grant and Howard Goodman; grandchild, Will Langston; and brother, Jimmy Stansell. Mrs. Goodman retired as a manager at Brittany American Inn. She was a member of Vineyard Baptist Church.

Mrs. Goodman is survived by her children, Regina and Tommy Langston, Howard Jr. and Stephanie Goodman, Scott Goodman, Jamie and Leslie Goodman and Shelly and Jeff Clay; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; mother, Lugine Holcomb Stansell; sister, Jean Scott; and nieces and nephews, Hugh Stansell, Donna Cantlay, Sky LaPrade and Lisa Grant.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Goodman will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009, in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. James Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at the funeral home.
