Seaman First Class #6152787 Bernard Henry Brown, went missing after the Naval Ship 'SS William Pierce Frye' was torpedoed by a German submarine at 2336 on 29th March 1943. The ship sank at 2340 with only 7 survivors out of the 64 on board.

Death declared in accordance with Navy regulations to 1 year 1 day after he went missing.
