PFC. JAMES PAUL BYUS was the youngest son of Andrew Monroe "Andy" BYUS and Edith Alice (Dye) BYUS.

He was born and raised in West VIrginia and as a young man believed it was his duty to fight against the enemies of his country. James enlisted on 10 Dec 1943 in Columbus, Ohio and served in the United States Army unil his death in Feb 1945.

He was only 20 years old when he died and had not married. He leaves his family and friends the memories of a young man that served his nation.
