She was born April 12, 1925 in Murchison to Wilburn Alga and Lena McMichael Harville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands S.J. Landers and Thomas Asher and one brother, Will Mack Harville.
She is survived by two sons, John Scott Landers and wife Jane of Manvel and Steven Lee Landers and wife Paula of Magnolia; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister Molly Moore and husband Eddie of Richardson; and brother Pete Harville and wife Kathryn of Athens.
