The son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Baudino, moved to Collinsville, Illinois with his family when about age seven. Prior to entering the Army Air Forces, he attended Webster School and was employed by the Armour Packing Co. as a carpenter and painter and was married to Eveline (Holtgrieve) of Collinsville.

He was with the 869th Bomb Squadron, Bomb Group, 20th Army Air Force and was killed in a plane crash on Saipan en route to the U.S. for release.

He was survived by his parents, three sisters and two brothers, his wife having preceded him in death by three years.

Note: His brother Seaman 1st Class Lawrence Baudino, Jr. served in the Philippines.
