Son of Richard Allen Williams and Elizabeth Betsy Walston Williams. Husband of Martha A Roper. They married 1 Nov 1860 in Tyler County, Texas. They were parents of ten children. Henry James, William James, Elizabeth Alice, John Thomas, Robert Calvert, George Henry, Lula Esther, Mattie Emma, Ida Belle, and Laura Pearl. He was an itenerate Baptist Minister whose calling was to establish churches. Besides the Eldorado church he established the Childress Baptist Church and was instrumental in the establishment of the Quanah Baptist Church. He was also the first pastor of these churches. He was a veteran of the Civil War. He died in Billings, Oklahoma. His birth date in the family Bible is 29 Jun 1839; grave marker shows 9 Jun 1839.
