Services Held Today for Mrs. Sarah (Dollie) Barfield Funeral services were held at eleven o'clock this morning from Mt. Pleasant Church for Mrs. Sarah (Dollie) Tucker Barfield, age 70 years, who died at her home Tuesday night, February 15th, after a few weeks illness.
Reverend H. H. Shell officiated at the services and interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Mrs. Barfield is survived by her husband, William Riley Barfield, and eleven children as follows: Mrs. Ruby Lodge, of Cairo Ga., Mrs. Rose Singer, of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Dollie Will Richards, of Camilla, Ga., Mrs. Anna Matthews, Mrs. Anne Harrell, Miss Ara Bell and Miss Lena Barfield, all of Bainbridge; Louis Barfield, of Lakeland, Florida, Luther Barfield, of Camilla, Ga., Berry Barfield, of Eustis, Fla., and Barney Barfield, of Bainbridge. Her three surviving brothers are Reuben Tucker, of Cottonwood, Ala., Mark Tucker, of Dothan, Ala., and Henry Tucker, of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Serving as active pallbearers were Messrs. Ennis F. Williams, Cleve Allen, Carl Sullivan, Floyd Taylor, Lucious Collins and Charlie Will Harrell.
