The graveside funeral service for Bonnie Naugle, 88, of Hulbert, is at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 24 at Ray Cemetery in Sequoyah State Park. Pastor Freddy Griffin officiated.
A visitation was held 5-7 p.m. Friday at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. Bonnie (Kelley) Naugle was born Dec. 7, 1921 in Kingston to Sidney Lee Kelley and Mary (Wells) Kelley. She died on Wednesday, July 21 at her home near Hulbert where she has been a resident for over 60 years. She grew up in the Yonkers area and attended school at Locust Grove. She was a housewife and raised three daughters. She was a Pentecostal Christian for many years. She enjoyed gardening and all animals, especially cows. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Emery Ray Naugle; her parents; two brothers, B. L. Kelley and Carl Kelley, and a sister, Geraldine Whitsitt. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Ellen Appel and Mary Helen Brunson, both of Hulbert, and Bonnie Sue Santore of Sebec, Maine; brothers, Leroy Kelley, of Flagstaff, Ariz.; Robert Kelley, of Texas, and Tommy Kelley, of Ridgecrest, Calif.; her sisters, Margie Hughes, of Broken Arrow, Marquita Wright, of Chelsea, Oleta Ross and Carrie Prigmore, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; her brother-in-law, Donal Naugle; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements were by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
