Miss Editha Finch, age 86, of Metter, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 in the Candler County Hospital in Metter after an extended illness. She was a native of Montgomery County; living in the McGregor Community, and had resided in Metter for many years. She formerly attended the McGregor Presbyterian Church, and was preceded in death by her parents, James Albert Finch, Sr. and Mattie Conner Finch.

Miss Finch is survived by one sister, Thetis Pike of Savannah, and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, George Finch of Macon.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 21st at 10:00 am in the McCrimmon Cemetery near Higgston with Reverend Don Moye officiating.
