Ronnie Gene Arnold, 45 of Fayetteville died Monday, October 19, 1992 in Washington Regional Medical Center. Born March 21, 1947 at Prairie Grove, the son of John C. and Wanda M. Arnold. Ronnie was a graduate of Fayetteville High School. He worked as a driver for Mitchell Oil Company. Ronnie was a licensed barber, practicing at the Veterans Administration Hospital and in earlier years Johnny's Barber Shop.
He was a member of the Association for the Blind with his late blind friend, Raymond Pasley. He was a deacon and elder at the Family Worship Center in Greenland, where he and his family shared their strong faith in Jesus Christ. Ronnie was married to the former Regenia Ann Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Larry Stephen Arnold. Survivors include his wife Regenia Ann Arnold of the home; a daughter Robyn Ann Arnold of the home; his mother Wanda Arnold of Fayetteville; a brother John L. Arnold of Fayetteville; his maternal grandmother Lillian Curtis of Fayetteville and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 2 pm Thursday at Family Worship Center in Greenland with the Rev. Roger Phillips officiating. All friends and family are invited to this time of happy songs and remembrance.
Pallbearers will be Donald Osburn, Larry Schott, Mike Hester, Robin Beach, Stan Wilson and Rick Tomlinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Dearing, Lawrence Hester, Linn Carlson, George Pense Jr., Joel Lee Phillips and Bob Hall.
Memorial may be made to the Family Worship Center in Greenland or the Northwest Arkansas Council for the Blind.
