Ida Lucy Reynolds was born May 28, 1889 to William and Isabelle Reynolds and died May 6, 1982 at the Bethesda Care Center in Ainsworth at the age of 92 years, eleven months.
She was married to Walter Amick on December 25, 1907, and to them three children were born. They lived on the home place northwest of Springview until retiring in 1965. They moved into Springview, and she continued living there following her husband's death until she entered the nursing hom in September 1980.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Mervin, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by a son, Clarence Melvin, Warren, Oregon, a daughter, Alma Hardy, Cheyenne, Wyoming; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, sixteen great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Billings, Mrs. Earl (Della) McCoy, Valentine, Mrs. Mae Horton and Mrs. Jessie Lux, both of Chadron; nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Services were held May 12 at the United Methodist Church in Springview with Pastor Charles Bailey officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Doris Weddel and Carol Clay. Pallbearers were Charles Horton, Harley McCormick, Andy Gudgel, Gerald Graham, Terry Denny and Wayne Simons. Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Springview.
