Victoria Paquette "Vicki" Adkins, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She was 50.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adkins was born on August 18, 1959 in Ft. Rucker, AL, and resided all of her life in Dothan until recently moving to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She was a 1978 graduate of Ashford High School and also attended Dothan High School. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and cooking for her friends and family. She was expecting her 2nd grandchild.

Survivors include her husband Bobby Adkins of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; her daughters, Jennifer Adkins of Dothan and Kim Cunningham and her husband Shaun of Dothan; a grandchild Briley Cunningham; her brothers, Bobby Paquette of Milton, FL, Donnie Paquette of Covington, Michigan and Art Paquette of Brussells, Belgium; her sisters, Roni Staggs of Moody, AL, Patty Killingsworth of Moody, AL and Valencia Poe of Trussville, AL; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Art Paquette, Bobby Paquette, Cliff Staggs, Sam Killingsworth, Jr., B.J. German and Shaun Cunningham.
