The death occured, accidentally on Wednesday afternoon on Wilkinson Road, of George Chambers, husband of Mrs. Rachael Craig Chambers. He was born in Ingersoll, Ont., and has been a resident of this city for the past six years and is survived by his widow, five sons, Edward in Penticton, George in Vancouver, B.C., James and John of this city; also four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Kennon, of Nanaimo, Mrs. A. Ledingham, of Winnipeg, Mrs. Davis, of Vancouver, and Miss Eva Chambers at home. He was an esteemed member of L.O.L. No. 1426 of this city. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, at 4:30 from Sands Funeral Chapel, Dr. H.N. Maclean officiating. Internment will be made at Ross Bay Cemetery.
