Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007, from the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with the Rev. Levi Skipper officiating.
A native of Paducah, Mr. Mayberry had been a longtime resident of Cobb County. Mr. Mayberry served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He was employed for 35 years with the Austin Company. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 160.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Mayberry; one son, Malcolm Mayberry of Marietta; two daughters, Cindy Greenfield and Kathy Simon, both of Powder Springs; one sister, Irene Peeler of Paducah; and four grandchildren.
Those who wish may make contributions to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at the funeral home.
