Both are buried in Reformed Church Cemetery, Middletown, Md. Both John and his brother, Major Peter Coblentz were devoted officers of Reformed Church of Middletown, Md. They had eight children: Catherine, Anna Marie, Magdaline, David, Elias, Julia Ann, Susan, Joseph.
