Genevieve M. Ashenberner, 86, of Medford, Ore., passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 in Medford.
Genevieve was born Nov. 21, 1922 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Guy R. and Edith Moore. She attended SOU and recieved a B.A. degree in art. She married Robert S. Ashenberner on April 11, 1944 in Portland, Ore. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter Robbin Botting and her husband, Jim; son, Sam and his wife, Dolores, son, Alan and his wife, Susan, son, David and his wife, Linda; and daughter, Catherine.
A viewing will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, Tuesday, Aug. 4th at 3-7:00 p.m. graveside service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Red Cross. Arrangements by Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, Medford, Ore. 773-6162. www.hillcrestmortuary.com
